Privacy Policy

Shopping Tiles ("the Application") is a shopping list utility designed to help you organize shopping using visual tiles. We value your privacy and aim to keep your data under your control. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application processes and how.

1. No Personal Data Collection by the App

The Application itself does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Specifically:

• No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the Application.
• No Ads: The Application does not include advertising SDKs.
• No Tracking: The Application does not include third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
• No Server Sync (Current Version): The Application does not upload your shopping data to our servers.

2. Local Storage Only

Data you create in the Application—such as shopping lists, tile configuration, and preferences—is stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us.

3. Images You Choose to Use

The Application may let you associate custom images with tiles (for example, choosing an image from your device). Any such images are stored locally on your device as part of the Application’s local data.

If the Application requests access to photos/media, it is only to allow you to select an image. The Application does not scan your library, and it does not upload your images.

4. Platform Services (Google Play & Apple App Store)

The Application may be distributed through the Google Play Store and/or the Apple App Store. These platforms may collect limited diagnostic information (such as crash reports, device type, OS version, and app version) to help developers understand stability issues.

We do not receive information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email, or contact details) through these platform diagnostics.

5. Children's Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since the Application does not collect user data and stores information locally on the device, we do not have access to users’ data or age information.

6. Data Deletion

Because your data is stored locally, you have full control:

• You can delete lists and other local data within the Application (where the feature is provided).
• Uninstalling the Application will remove the Application’s local data from your device.

7. GDPR Note (EU)

The developer is based in the European Union. The Application is designed to minimize data processing. Because the Application does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer, the developer does not process personal data from the Application’s users.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud synchronization), we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly before releasing those features. The “Last updated” date at the top will also be revised.
